Courtney Macha

My name is Courtney Macha.  I am a wife, mother of four, christian, and entrepreneur.  I started Tumbling Tigers in 2011 with a dream of flexible hours and more time at home with my children.  It has grown beyond my imagination over the years and we are now teaching our program in 14 schools in Baton Rouge touching over 250 students each year.   My experience and love for children has allowed me to see the need for other extracurricular programs beyond gymnastics.  I was involved in extracurricular activities and sports at a young age.  This has carried into adulthood and I currently enjoy playing tennis and coaching softball.  I see first hand through my job and volunteering how important it is to set the foundation for an active lifestyle especially in the ‘screen happy’ world we live in.  I’m happy to launch Tiger Tennis in the Spring of 2024, which will offer developmental tennis to ages 3-6 years old.  The structure of our program will follow the same business model as our other program, Tumbling Tigers.  We will bring the program to schools and daycares in Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas.
